Dear Fellow Democrat,
It would be a great honor to receive your endorsement for the upcoming Democratic National Committee member elections.
I am a lifelong Democrat who has enthusiastically contributed my efforts to benefiting my optometric profession as well as local / global humanitarian and environmental issues. This time, I have one goal: to continue serving the Democratic Party’s ideals as a member of the Democratic National Committee.
My goals for a thriving Democratic Party:
1) Increase youth participation with heavy emphasis on mentorship and successive leadership
2) Target and prioritize increased voter registration for Democrats in red areas
3) Provide direct volunteer support for communities in need of more Democratic leaders
On the statewide effort, I currently hold the position of Statewide Treasurer for the Asian Pacific Islander Caucus in the California Democratic Party. Areas such as Fresno are identified as high density Asian American communities that our Party can energize with Democratic values. I will utilize the relationships and skills I have gained from working directly in communities and various organizations to relay the message on a national level to achieve our goals for a strong and sustainable Democratic Party.
It would be a privilege to dedicate my energy and experience to the California Democratic Party as a member of the Democratic National Committee for the 2008-2012 term.
